Lift in 2016

It was a damp and cold start to the day, but it soon ‘came away nice.’ And despite a very low tide mid-morning, it all went without a hitch. Thanks as ever to our indefatigable harbour secretary George Mackay, and of course to the excellent tutelage provided by Lachie. Here’s a selection of photos from the day.

Less Than Two Weeks….

… to go until lift in! Some snaps of people round the yard taking advantage of the fine weather and the Monday Holiday (though many of them look suspiciously as if they’re retired in any case).

Bell Block Improvements

Despite wintry weather, improvements continue to be made to the Bell Block. A new picture window, replacement roofing and a walkway, floodlights and finally conduit for the wiring.

Lift In 2016!

Lift In is booked for Saturday 9th April 2016, 7am start (weather permitting).

The Harbour Secretary would also like to remind boat owners that they are expected to attend at least one mooring work party if they wish to have the use of an FCYC mooring in the sailing season.
There is still time to do your bit if you have not been involved to date. Just give GM a call to volunteer!
