Pontoon Duty

The week begins on a Monday, therefore the Pontoon needs to be checked on either Monday morning or evening and so on for the rest of the week. In addition, both FCYC and RFYC would appreciate your assistance by opening up the Bell Block toilet facilities for visitors on Mondays, preferably mornings.

On Thursday, the refuse wheelie bins should be put outside the gates at the FCYC yard and Pontoon for collection on Friday morning.

You are asked to take a note of the boats staying overnight on the Pontoon. This list/note is to be forwarded to John Spencely at the RFYC. This can be done by dropping the list/note into the RFYC’s letterbox daily after checking the Pontoons.

Boat owners are to be encouraged to pay as they arrive on the Pontoons (they can do this at the RFYC’s clubhouse) and you should strongly encourage visiting boats to do this too. FCYC members have the option of paying in the Corinthian Club. This however doesn’t give us the right to delay payment beyond the next club night at the latest. Late payers will incur a £5 administration fee. Visiting boats are expected to pay and display whilst on the Pontoons and I am sure this will make life easier for you.
