What is a wap-enabled mobile phone?

A wap-enabled mobile phone is a phone that has a built-in Web browser and the capability of connecting to wireless Web sites.

How do I access the internet using my mobile phone?

It depends on the make of the phone. First you will need to find your internet browser. Wap-enabled phones will have a menu called 'Web', 'WAP', 'access internet' or 'services' somewhere on your phone menu. Once you have found the browser you will need to enter the web address. Again, different manufacturers describe this in different ways, for instance: 'Go to address'. This option will allow you to type in the address above.
